RoundOps service terms

These terms govern access to the RoundOps website and software service. RoundOps is intended for businesses and people acting for business purposes.

1. About these terms

These terms form an agreement between RoundOps and the person or business opening or using a RoundOps account. If you use RoundOps for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.

Our contact details are available through our contact page.

2. The RoundOps service

RoundOps provides tools for recurring field-service operations, including scheduling, customer and team records, communications, invoicing, payment workflows, reporting, integrations and related mobile functionality. Some features depend on third-party services or separate provider approval.

3. Trials and subscriptions

Where offered, a free trial lasts for the period shown when the account is opened. The current public offer is a 30-day trial with no payment card required. Access may become limited when the trial ends unless a paid plan is selected.

Paid-plan prices, included users and any separately charged usage are shown before purchase. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew for the billing period selected until cancelled. SMS, payment processing and optional third-party charges may be separate from the RoundOps subscription.

4. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account information, keep login credentials secure, use appropriate permissions for staff and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through authorised users of your business account.

5. Your data and your customers

You retain your rights in business data entered into RoundOps. You are responsible for ensuring that you have a lawful basis and appropriate notices or permissions for personal information you upload or process through the service.

You instruct RoundOps to process that data as needed to provide, secure, support and maintain the service and enabled integrations. RoundOps will not claim ownership of your customer database merely because it is stored in the service.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use RoundOps to break the law, infringe another person's rights, send unlawful or abusive communications, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with service operation, evade usage controls, or use another business's data without authority.

7. Payments and third-party services

Payment, banking, messaging, mapping, tax and other integrations are provided partly by third parties. Their services may be subject to separate terms, eligibility checks, fees, availability and provider decisions. RoundOps does not control a provider's banking network, settlement times, card scheme, Direct Debit rules or government systems.

Where RoundOps initiates or records a transaction, the authoritative provider event may determine its final payment state.

8. Availability, maintenance and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, fix security issues, change interfaces or improve features. We will take reasonable care to avoid unnecessary disruption and will communicate material changes where appropriate.

9. Backups and exports

RoundOps includes data-export and backup-related controls, but you should maintain appropriate business-continuity arrangements for information critical to your business. Availability of hosting-level backups may depend on the hosting configuration used for the service.

10. Intellectual property

RoundOps software, branding, documentation and original service content belong to RoundOps or its licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service during your authorised trial or subscription; they do not transfer ownership of the software.

11. Cancellation and suspension

You may cancel a paid subscription in accordance with the account controls or billing instructions provided with your plan. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, serious misuse or legal compliance. Where practicable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

12. Ending the service and getting your data

Before an account is permanently removed, we aim to provide a reasonable opportunity to export business data, subject to security, legal retention and account-status requirements. Some accounting, audit or legal records may need to be retained after service access ends.

13. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

RoundOps is a business software service. To the extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the agreement was made. Any final contractual liability cap and service commitments should be read together with the order, plan terms or other written commercial terms agreed with you.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, security or commercial changes. We will publish the updated date and, for material changes affecting active subscribers, provide reasonable notice where appropriate.

15. Governing law

Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, these terms and any dispute relating to them are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
